Social time!

silver_chipmunkFinally got to hang out with mashfanficchick and zir mother! Ze texted me last night when I was already asleep, so I got the text this morning that they would get to the park btween 2:00 and 2:30.
I woke up at 8:30 oddly enough, bright and chipper, so I got up, had breakfast, puttered on-line, and finally took down my Halloween decorations. Then I put up some of my Thanksgiving ones, so it still looks nice and festive. Then I took a shower, washed my hair and moussed it, and got dressed.
At 1:30 I called zir to confirm the meeting, and left to go to the park. I got there by 2:00, they got there by 3:00, which was OK as it was a lovely day for sitting in the park. We had lunch (they picked up mine for me) and hung out until a little after 6:00.
Then I took the bus home, and when I got here Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time, for quite awhile.
When we got done I cleaned the turtle filter, which had been unplugged for several days because it was making an ungodly noise because it needed cleaning. It is much better now.
Then I had dinner, and after that went into the bedroom to putter on my phone and play solitaire til I called Oldest Brother.
And then I fed the pets, and here I am. Been texting to L from the Friday meeting about possibly doing dinner again Thursday.
