Veteran's Day

silver_chipmunkHope all the vets on my flist had a good Veteran's Day, and thank you for your service. Second, a remembrance of the vets in my family, Dad, Uncle Jack, and Grandpa Lloyd.
That being said, my day was very quiet. I slept later than I wanted to. Got up finally and had a facebook message conversation with Herschel, because he is a vet. I miss not being in closer contact with him any more, but all things must come to an end, and at least we're still friends.
Then I had breakfast and coffee. Puttered on the computer for awhile, then put in a Shipt order.
I found out that finally Masquerade in Lodi is available tor download for nook at Barnes and Noble, so I downloaded it to my Nook, despite having it already on the computer in the kindle app, just to have them all in the same place. It's only $3.99, so not going to break me to pay for it twice.
My Shipt order came, and I unpacked it, and then it was time to Skype the FWiB. He's doing well.
We talked for a nice time, then I got off and cleaned the turtle filter again. The water is still very murky, I'm going to change it on Sunday, when Oldest Brother will be here to help me. Then I got my alundry together and took it to the laundromat and dropped it off.
Finally I had dinner, and then went and read. I'm still working on The Dragon, the Witch and the Railroad. Which I am not liking as much as the rest of the series. But I will finish it to see how it goes, and probably read the last one too.
I heard from L about having dinner tomorrow with N. She will pick my up from work at 6 tomorrow, but we aren't meeting N til 7:30. We'll go somewhere and have coffee or something til then.
Oldest Brother called and we talked, nothing new.
And that's basically the day.
