This day dragged

I got a call from the Medicaid officer of the rehab, I needed to get Oldest Brother's bank statement and social security number to him. I do not want to go through the whole procedure and comedy of errors that I went through to get them. but get them I did. Oldest Brother was actually able to tell me his SS number, which amazed and cheered me, but logging into the bank account was a whole 'nother kettle of fish.

I also called Middle Brother's group home and arranged for his coming to my place for Christmas Eve and Christmas day. They will drive him to the train station and I will meet him there and we shall have an adventure, God help me.

I also called the agent for the landlord of his room, and told him about the 27th, and called Brian and told him too.

Called the Kid too, she's doing OK, but sad.

Came home and Skyped the FWiB, then went through the whole rigamarole with the bank. Called Oldest Brother several times.

Had meant to start present wrapping tonight, had no time. I got out the paper and labels though.

That's about all.

Yay! It sounds like things are improving for your eldest brother. Bank accounts are so fiddly, but glad you got through eventually. I hope the Kid's spirits pick up with the holiday season.

Thanks. The kid is feeling a bit better. Things are hectic right now, but looking up, I hope. Oldest brother is definitely better than he was at first, so i am much encouraged.
