Merry Christmas Eve!

Went better than I expected. Got up on time and made it to the bus on time to make the train easily on time. There was a transfer at Huntingdon, but it was easily done.

Met up with Middle Brother and his counsellor easily enough, she had forgotten some paperwork but went and brought it back so that was OK.

The trip back was easier than I had feared. Direct, no transfer, and Middle brother had a nice window seat. The bus trip from Jamaica to Flushing was the worst part but even that wasn't bad.

Got here and made the pasta and sauce for dinner, finished just in time for the family Zoom call. That was very nice, and we sang (badly) Christmas songs, and Happy Birthday to June, who I never realized was born Christmas Eve. She's 3 now. John had Oldest Brother on speaker-phone so he could be part of it too.

Then we (Middle brother, the Kid and I) had the present opening Zoom with mashfanficchick and zer mother. That went well. Middle Brother liked all his presents which is the main thing, frankly. I tried calling Oldest Brother after but he didn't pick up. I guess he was asleep.

Since then I've been cleaning up, and set Middle brother up on the air matress.

Feeding the pets now, then bed.
