Pretty quiet day

I went to Oldest Brother's bank and deposited his check, and I went to my bank and deposited the $1.18 check I got from NY State, and took out some cash.

That's really all I did today. I called Oldest Brother several times, and I spoke to the Kid. And i Skyped the FWiB.

I got a call from Middle Brother's group home. They have to go into lockdown again because a staff member tested positive for the virus. They are going to test Middle Brother on Friday. If he's positive, of course I will have to quarantine too.

The other thing is that tomorrow I have to call about Oldest Brother's car payment. He's dangerously behind in it. I'll have to pay it somehow. Got to get up early tomoorrow and do that first thing.

I'm also going to call my union's legal help service and see if they can help me with either a power of attorney or the disability, or both. I don't think so, but I'm hoping they can at least give me advice.

I called in dinner from Seamless, though I didn't use the gift certificate that mashfanficchick and zer mother gave me.

And I had my Al-anon meeting by Zoom.

I really do hope you get your brother on disability. It's a rough process, and I've been told that they supposedly reject the first application every time. But I know that it's easier with a physical, measurable condition like your brother's stroke than, say, a less apparent illness.

Thanks. That's what I'm hoping, that he's so obviously impaired that they won't fight it. I've heard the horror stories too.
