Some good news

silver_chipmunkOldest Brother had the interview with Social Security today and they approved him for disability. Of course as long as he's in the nursing facility, most of the money he gets will go to that, that's the way it works, but anything is something.
Aside from that, nothing much to report. I worked, I came home. I called Oldest Brother, and then I watched the SpaceX launch on youtube livestream, while the FWiB was watching it too. For those who haven't heard, it took off, successfully maneuvered, successfully landed, then exploded quite spectacularly. (It was unmanned of course) Then we Skyped.
After that I had dinner, and then called Oldest Brother again. He is doing much better with his speech. Then I called the Kid and talked to her for awhile.
And then I fed the pets, and here I am.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Oldest Brother got his disability.
3. Quiet day at work.
4. Finished reading Calculated Risks last night.
5. Warmer day.
6. The SpaceX launch went successfully until the explosion.
