Birthday dinner

made it to work on time, work was quiet, nothing much to say about it. I got a phone call (automated) from oldest Brother's rehab, they are going to start allowing visitation, though on a very limited basis, only on three days a week, only one visit per week, two people at a time, social distancing enforced, by appointment and only 15 minute visits. But it's a start.
Laurie facebooked me a lot today about the breast situation. She's been through it, of course.
Anyway, after work I met up with L and n from the Friday night group and we went out to dinner at a place called Brewski's. I had pulled pork mac and cheese with crispy onions, it was pretty good. I had a chocolate mousse cake type thing called Trinity cake for dessert and the restaurant sang happy birthday. No candle though. It was a lot of fun, and really nice to get out with people again.
Came home and called Middle Brother. He's doing OK. Then I Skyped the FWiB, but only for a short time.
Then I called oldest brother, and then the kid. Everyone doing OK.
While catching up on my reading in LJ and Dreamwidth, I discovered this: George Soros to Give $500M to Bard College in New York I guess that takes care of our worries about what happens when Leon retires! So very cool.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Program friends.
3. Cousins.
4. Visiting opening up.
5. George Soros helping my alma mater.
6. My brothers are OK.
