More bad news

Denise called me during my lunch break today. Aunt Helen isn't doing well. They don't think she'll be coming home from the hospital. Apparently her lungs aren't doing well. She's on oxygen, but they can't get her breathing to the point where she could go home and use the oxygen machine they have there. They're going to move her into some sort of hospice arrangement this week.

So there's that. I called the Kid and told her, and I told Oldest Brother when I got home.

Before I came home I went through Flushing to go to the Duane Reed. I got Easter candy for Middle Brother, and toilet paper for me.

Skyped the FWiB. All well there. Then I had dinner and went and read Masked City until it was time to call Oldest Brother again. After that I called the kid again and we talked.

And that's how things are.
