Had the Best Books for Teens committee meeting in the morning, and the YA Programming Chat in the afternoon, and I spent a half hour ordering ready-made take home activity kits that I will hopefully be approved to give out over the summer. Aside from that the work day was made up of reading my review books.

After work I called Oldest Brother again, then Skyped the FWiB. We talked for a full two hours! That was nice.

After that I puttered on the computer for awhile, getting caught up online, then had dinner. Then at 8:30 I called Middle Brother, he's doing OK.

Played solitaire in the bedroom until it was almost time to call Oldest Brother again. And then Lu Rice called; I had forgotten she was going to call today. We had a nice talk, and then I got off and called Oldest Brother. Just while I was calling him, the Kid texted and said she was home and would be calling soon.

So after I got off with Oldest Brother I waited for her, and then we had a talk. She had a good time away.

Then after we finished it was almost time to feed the pets. And here I am.

Still haven't heard about the biopsies. Maybe no news is good news?

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. The Kid home safe.

3. Didn't have to go out in the rain today.

4. Middle Brother doing OK.

5. Good books.

6. Ice cream.

I like the idea of take-home activity kits! It gives them something to do that isn't just a virtual meeting or activity. :)

I think no news is good news!

No news is good news. In my experience, if something is wrong I get notified immediately.

What is in the kits for the summer library patrons? I'm curious.
