I got up around 11 I think, and had breakfast and coffee, and called Oldest Brother. Then I puttered online until finally I Skyped the FWiB in the afternoon.

I did have a chance to check out the pathology reports posted on my patient portal site on the site of the place that did my biopsies. There was no lymph node involvement in the cancer, the lymph node biopsy was clean. The cancer is "invasive well-differentiated ductal carcinoma", which is pretty good actually, slow growing and with a better prognosis. (Yes, google is my friend). I'm hoping I get through this with nothing worse than a lumpectomy and radiation.

Anyway, I talked to the Kid a couple of times and I called Middle Brother. Haven't told him anything about this, I don't think he'd understand, and if he did it would only upset him. Oldest Brother knows of course. A little bit of good news from him, he's been able to move his right arm a little. So that's an improvement.

The kid has a friend whose father is an oncologist who is going to look at my pathology reports, but truthfully I don't know what else he can tell me.

Jon Rice called and we talked a bit. They also called Oldest Brother today.

Talked to [personal profile] mashfanficchick today for a bit too. They are picking me up tomorrow at 11:45.

For dinner I called in Seamless, for the first time in a long time. I had a grace Kelly burger again.

Started reading the new Janet Evanovitch Fox and O'Hare novel. They are always good fun.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Oldest Brother moved his arm.

3. Fun books.

4. Good pathology report.

5. The Kid and her friends.

6. Friends and family.

I'm glad to hear that your prognosis looks good! If nothing else, the second opinion might confirm that.
