Day out with the gang

silver_chipmunkI slept until about 10:30, and finally got up after calling Oldest Brother and the Kid. Had breakfast, and then showered and dressed.
Skyped the FWiB, and while we were talking, messaged withmashfanficchick and Dori about going out. Ultimately they picked me up and we went out to Long Island to Noodles and Company for lunch/dinner. Then we went to Barnes and Noble, where Dori and I browsed and mashfanficchick and zer mother used the WiFi to do work. I bought two books (but one is for the Kid), and marked down another on my wish list to buy on-line on my Nook.
After Barnes and Noble closed, we went to the Carle Place Diner and had more food. I just got a strawberry sundae.
We got lost on the way back and ended up in the Bronx, but got here finally, and all is well.
Except that when I tried to call Middle Brother, the phone was busy, and continued to be busy for an hour, after which I gave up trying. It must be out of order.
Called Oldest Brother three times as usual, called the Kid in the morning and she called me in the afternoon. She is feeling better.
