Pretty normal day

silver_chipmunkWorked, we were short staffed and it was quite busy, so I was kept hoping, but we got through it. Had one very unpleasant patron who absolutely refused to take her temperature, and was quite nasty about it, but that was a minor problem. The Boss took care of it.
The Kid called diring my break, nothing much to report.
After work I came home and called Oldest Brother, then Skyped the FWiB. We talked for almost two hours, doing the New Yorker caption contest for the week.
After we finished I had dinner, then calledmashfanficchick to confirm when they're picking me up tomorrow. We ended up playing phone tag but finally connected, and they are picking me up between 12 and 12:15, assuming the appointment isn't cancelled like last week. I have to call at 10 tomorrow to find out.
After that I played solitaire until it was time to call Oldest Brother again, and then Icalled the Kid but she didn't pick up.
I read Witness for the Dead until it was time to feed the pets, and here I am.
