silver_chipmunkI started out by sleeping a bit later than I should have, and then getting up and showering and dressing. I am happy to say that there was lovely hot water! The boiler is apparently fixed.
Then I went and got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a roll and coffee from the bagel shop. I drank the coffee and ate while I was waiting for the 16 bus to Bowne park, where I had my meeting. It was very good.
After the meeting a group of us went out to the diner, and ate. That was nice.
Got a ride home, and got on to the Starsky and Hutch chat, and hung out there for several hours. That was a very fun time.
Then I Skyped the FWiB. We didn't talk for as long as usual because it was late, but it was fun.
Put in a Shipt order, but the earliest delivery time wasn't until tomorrow, so I have to wait. It's supposed to be here after 11.
The only downside to the day was that I got a letter from NYS, remember last year the letters saying that my apartment management company was asking for a rent increase due to the rewiring they did? Well they got it. My rent goes up $42.72. Not a lot, but they had asked for another increase as well, and I assume that one will go through too. I am pissed about that.
But there's nothing I can do about it. So I am trying to not worry about it.

5. Three day weekend.
6. Beautiful weather for a day in the park.
