Took A Mental Health Day

silver_chipmunkie, I called out sick. But now I rather regret it. It was the first day school was back in session, I feel like I should have been there.
However I had a quiet day. I put in a Shipt order. Puttered online a lot. Skyped the FWiB, called Oldest Brother.
Finally I ordered sushi from Akiyama on Seamless for dinner. While I was waiting for that to arrive, the Kid called with some bad news... she got an official text that she's been exposed to Covid and has to quarantine until she can be tested. Which means that she can't drive me to my blood test on Wednesday. I'm not to worried about her, she's fully vaxed, and it can't have been a very close contact because she hasn't seen anyone, she thinks it's either one of her upstairs neighbors or downstairs neighbors and although I gather it's possible to catch it that way, I don't think it's very likely. But it was a problem about the test Wednesday.
Luckily RK says he can take me Wednesday so that's OK. But the whole thing is disquieting.
Anyway, that's how things stand now. .It's thundering rather loudly, I think we're going to have a storm/
Gratitude list:
1. The FWiB.
2. The kid is fully vaxed.
3. I had the time to take a day off.
4. Sushi. Because nothing says mental health day like raw fish on rice.
5. RK.
6. Don't have to be outside in the storm.
