Day with Friends

silver_chipmunkGot a late start, during which time I wrote a little bit more in the Starsky and Hutch fanfic I've been working on, but finally I joined up with mashfanficchick and zer mother. We went to a late lunch. I got poke, and we actually ate outdoors, though it was windy.
Then we went tomashfanficchick's place and cleaned out the car enough that we had room for Dori. Then we picked her up, and went to Martha's Country Bakery for dessert.
I hd cheesecake and hot chocolate, which I shouldn't have done, but it was delicious. We ate in their heated outside area, and it wasn't too cold. We sat around and had good conversation for awhile, and then they brought me back.
I got in touch with J, to see if we were having lunch tomorrow, but she has a doctor's appointment, so we aren't. Hopefully Saturday.
Called oldest Brother for the third time, and then Skyped the FWiB, jut for a brief call. Then I called the kid. She and the FWiB both are following the Ukraine situation very closely, and between the two of them I am up-to-date with the whole soon-to-be bloodbath. She just called me to tell me CNN is reporting explosions near Kyiv. prayers for all.

3. Our government seems to be handling the crises correctly for once.

5. None of my family is in the military now, unless Danny gets recalled or something.
