Blood tests and friends

silver_chipmunkMeant to get up at 9:00, instead I kept pushing the snooze alarm till 11, when I was getting picked up at 11:30. So I rushed and made it through my shower and getting dressed. No coffee or breakfast because I had to fast for the tests. mashfanficchick's mother picked me up a bit late, she got stuck in bad traffic. And we got stuck in traffic on the way to the lab, too, so I was 16 minutes late, and after 10 minutes they drop your appointment and take you as a walk in. Which means I had to wait for my turn, but it wasn't too bad.
The tests went OK, they had trouble drawing blood from me, probably because I didn't drink much water this morning. And I hope I supplied a big enough urine specimen. But eventually I was through, and we went and picked upmashfanficchick. Then we went to Jersey Mike's for lunch, and I went to Dunkin' Donuts for coffee. I got a portobello cheese steak from Jersey Mike's.
After that we went and picked up Dori, and did some errands with her. Then we all went to Carvel, and got sundaes.
After that we dropped off Dori andmashfanficchick and I went to Party City, and ze got me belated birthday present, a helium balloon, black with zebra stripes. It's latex, not mylar, so it won't last long, but I love it. It's tied to the little rocking chair right now. I took some pictures of it to remember it by.
Then they brought me home, and I put in a Shipt order. Then I Skyped the FWiB. We had a nice time, and after we got off I puttered on the computer till the Shipt order came, just before 9:00.
I made dinner, and then called Oldest Brother for the third time. Then I called the Kid and she talked me through some stuff with the fitbit, and some stuff about the coffee shop.
Now have to hurry up and go to bed cause i have to be up to work at 9:00 tomorrow.
