Visited Oldest Brother

silver_chipmunkI slept late, then got up and breakfasted, showered, and dressed, and went to see Oldest Brother in the nursing home. It is his birthday tomorrow, and I can't see him then cause I have to work so I went today. Brought my birthday car, a card from mashfanficchick and zer mother, three pairs of flannel pants, and three books from the bag I have of books that were in his car. The Kid called me briefly, they sold the glass display case they had to get rid of from the coffee shop space.
I walked over and they gave me a covid test before I could go in. It was negative, obviously. I stayed for a couple of hours, not sure how long. We had a nice time, he was pretty good in his speech.
After I left I went to Rite Aid instead of going straight home, and got Easter candy for Middle Brother's basket. Don't know how I'll get it to him, but I have it now.
Came home and called Oldest brother to let him know i was back. Then I Skyped the FWiB.
Then I puttered on the computer for a bit, and then went and took a nap for awhile.
Ate dinner a bit before 8. Denise called me, they had only just gotten out of the airport after many delays and hold ups. Still waiting for them to get here. Then puttered till it was time to call Middle Brother. He is doing fine.
Played solitaire until I called Oldest Brother again, and then called the Kid.
And then I played solitaire and scrolled facebook till it was time to feed the pets.
Now waiting for John and Denise, can't go to bed till they get here!
Just got a text, they'll be here in 10 minutes.
