Not a good morning

Ended up being an hour and a half late, because after hitting the snooze alarm too many times, I fell asleep and had a dream about the murders of Barbara and Carolyn. I woke up and couldn't get moving after that, I had to process. So anyway I was late.

Then of course there was the news of the day, the overturning of Roe v Wade. And enough said about that.

I read a review book, which was powerful and did not aid my mood, Burn Down, Rise Up.

The day did get better later. I went to Boston Market for dinner after work as usual for Friday, and called Oldest Brother for the second time. Then I started Skyping the FWiB, but before we really got started, the person with the key for my Al-anon meeting showed up and we went in.

The meeting was very good. a new person showed up for the second meeting, so that was nice.

Then I came home and called Oldest Brother for the third time, then Skyped the FWiB.

Then I fed the pets and called the Kid, but she didn't pick up. I hope that's a good sign.

I'm sitting here munching out on Pirate's Booty cheese puffs. I should stop...
