Staff Meeting

Got to work nice and early, went to the staff meeting. It was mostly painless. And the boss brought goodies.

Got a call from my therapist, so that was good.

After work I went to Boston Market for dinner, then called Oldest Brother from there for the second time. Then I went to the church where my meeting is held and Skyped the FWiB from my phone while I waited. We had a nice time. mashfanficchick called about some plans for the future before the meeting started.

The meeting was good, but we cancelled the second meeting and I got home by 9:00 rather than 9:30. Called Oldest Brother again, then called the Kid. It was the Grand Opening of the coffee shop today! They got about 19 customers, which I think is pretty good for the first day.

Then I Skyped the FWiB again, and we had another nice time.

And that was my day.

2. The Kid's coffee hop seems to be off to a good start.

3. MY meetings and the people there.

4. My therapist.

5. Three day weekend.

6. Plans with friends.

Want a laugh? I read that your boss brought poodles to work, not goodies. If the goodies were food, either would be fine with me. Although maybe puppies would win by a nose. :-)

That would indeed have been interesting! Alas, it was only apple turnovers and fruit salad that she brought.
