Blood Work

silver_chipmunkWas going to sleep late today to avoid the problems of having to fast before my blood tests, but I got a call from mashfanficchick that ze wasn't working today and did I want to get together earlier than necessary for my blood tests? Of course yes. Ze said ze would call back later.
So I got up and Skyped the FWiB until ze called back, and then went and showered and got dressed and met up with zer and zer mother. We went to Ulta, Target, and Michaels to return some things, and do a little shopping. And by then it was time for my blood tests.
That went very quickly. I had to give urine too. I should get the results in a bit. When I go to the doctor on the 26th, if not before.
After that they took me to Starbucks for coffee, since I had had none due to fasting. And then they dropped me off at my apartment where I grabbed my jacket and my Al-anon books and went to the Bronx for my meeting.
The bus was late, so I rushed through dinner at Boston Market, and made it tomy meeting just in time. I called Oldest Brother for the second time just before the meeting.
The meeting was small but good. We cancelled the second meeting though because no one wanted to stay. SoI got home early.
While I was waiting for the bus, I got an e-mail from the FWiB that he was pretty sick and calling the EMTs. It may just be a reaction to an antibiotic. Or it may be something else. I'm waiting to hear more.
I have expressed interest in a prospective online D&D game that someone I know on facebook may start. We shall see how that goes.
Called Oldest Brother for the third time, then called the Kid. The coffee shop is doing well for just a few days in operation.
That's about it for the day. Waiting to hear some news from the FWiB.
