Made it on time, too! Sort of a fallow day, didn't do much of note. Worked on reading a review book I am not liking very much. Since I forgot to order yogurt in my last Shipt order, I had to go out for lunch, and I got chicken Marsala pizza. It was unusually good.

And the Kid texted me about getting together Friday and meeting Vincent. I let people at my Friday meeting know I wouldn't be able to make it, and we're going to Akiyama on Friday for dinner. mashfanficchick and zer mother are invited too.

Anyway, I came home and called Oldest Brother for the second time, and then took my laundry down to the laundromat. Then I Skyped the FWiB. We talked for a nice while.

Then I got off and ate dinner, during the making of which mashfanficchick called about tomorrow. After dinner it was time to call Oldest Brother again. And then I called the Kid, and we had a long talk, about Vincent, and also about Gunnar, the friend who died. She's handling the loss of her friend pretty well, but naturally she's sad.

And now I've fed the pets, and will go to bed and read awhile. Tomorrow I have my port flush and blood tests. I've had this port over a year now, and it still feels funny when I touch it.

Gratitude List:

You seem very close to your siblings, which is very nice. Lucky :)

Well I have always been very close with Oldest Brother, in a "me and you against the world" sort of way. Middle Brother is autistic and developmentally disabled, he lives in a group home, and it was just the three of us (and the Kid of course) after our parents were both dead and me divorced and my ex gone. Then in 2020, in December, Oldest Brother had a stroke. It left him partially paralyzed, with aphasia. That's why I call him so often, he's in a nursing home with nothing to do but watch TV all day. He can speak, but not awfully well. I think his mind is still pretty much OK, though, so I think he must get bored, so that's why I call so much.

Oh, I'm very sorry to hear about the stroke your older brother had. I truly am.

I can see you are close to your siblings- I apologise if it came out as something like criticism. It was not meant that way.
