Port flush
Jul. 12th, 2022 10:23 pmLast night
mashfanficchick texted me that they were going to Target before my doctor's appointment, and did I want to come? Of course yes. I got up in the morning, breakfasted and coffeed, and showered and dressed. And we went to Target, where I I bought zer stuff in exchange for cash, and then used the cash back option while paying to get money to pay for my laundry later.
Then we went to my doctor's appointment, which was fast and successful. The port flush was easy, and the blood tests fine, and they weighed me on an accurate scale, and I'm down to 186 fully clothed. That's a considerable drop from my worst of 206. I'm aiming to start for 160, which is a little less than I weighed right after the Kid was born; at that point I'll see how I look and feel and decide if I need to drop more. I'm 5'3" for reference, and fairly lightly built, so you see I have some dropping to do.
Anyway, while I was waiting for the doctor, I got facebook messaged by the guy who is going to run the on-line D&D game that I'm going to join, and also some e-mails from other people in that group and the upshot is we're going to play on Wednesdays, which is a bummer from the point of view of going to Carvel with
mashfanficchick and zer mother, but ze said maybe we can go before so there's that. And I DO want to play D&D again.
I also got texted by the Kid. She had asked
mashfanficchick and zer mother to join us on Friday, but they didn't want to because Vincent isn't vaxed. The Kid is working on that, trying to convince him. I texted her about what the doctor visit, too.
Anyway, after the doctor visit we went to Outback for lunch, I got the lunch special of six coconut shrimp and a Caesar salad. I called Oldest Brother for the second time to tell him how it went. John called him today, which is nice.
After lunch we went to Shop Rite, and then we went to my laundromat where
mashfanficchick helped me pick up my laundry. Many thanks to zer!
Then I Skyped the FWiB, and we had a nice long talk. By the time we were done it was time for my Al-anon meeting. That went very well.
After that i had some cheese and crackers for dinner, and went and lay down in the bedroom. I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and then I called the Kid. We talked for a bit, and then I just puttered on my phone till it was time to feed the pets.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. My meetings and the people there.
3. My port flush and blood tests were good.
4. Officially 186!
5. Clean laundry.
6. Helpful friends.
