Slept very late

silver_chipmunkIt was my free day today, yay three day weekend! So I slept very late. Actually I was awake earlier when the Kid texted me and we had a short text conversation. But then I went back to sleep.
Anyway, finally got up and had breakfast and coffee. Puttered around online, and textedmashfanficchick, to remind zer it's Dori's birthday and maybe we should do something. Ze said ze'd call me after ze was done working.
So at 3 I tool a shower and got dressed, and lay down and read the Player's Handbook. It is much more complicated than what we used to play, many more modifiers and things to take into account. But I think I will figure it out.
mashfanficchick called me, we decided not to go out because of the weather, but we will take Dori for dessert on Thursday and to dinner when the heat wave ends.
The FWiB was out for most of the day, when he got back we Skyped for a nice long time. After we finished I had coffee and ordered a book from a used dealer through Amazon that I had as a kid, 101 Elephant Jokes. I don't know why I wanted it again, but I do, so there!
Had dinner and then went and puttered around on my phone till it was time to call Oldest Brother. Then I called the Kid. Didn't talk long, she was tired.
Then I read the Player's handbook till it was time to feed the pets.
