Quiet day reading

silver_chipmunkSlept very late, then got up and ate breakfast. Was supposed to go out with mashfanficchick but that didn't happen... this heat is getting to everyone.
Instead I read the Jim Butcher Harry Dresden novella The Law, that's only available through Kindle or Audible. I downloaded the Kindle app to my phone and read it there. I rarely use the Kindle app, which I also have on my laptop, but I have a few things there so it's worth it to have on my phone. And I prefer reading on my phone to reading on the laptop. Though I like my Nook better than both.
Anyway, after I read that I downloaded the new Katherine Addison, The Grief of Stones, to my Nook and started reading that.And that's what I did for most of the day. When the FWiB got in from being out, which he was today, we Skyped. That was good as always.
I called Middle Brother but he was out with the group home at a Mets game. I hope they enjoy it! I'll call him tomorrow.
I called Oldest Brother the usual three times. And I called the Kid, she said I should arrange for a time to come over in the evening to dinner. So I'll do that.
Made tuna for myself for dinner cause I didn't want anything hot. Gave the water from the can to Oreo who loved it.
Have been charging the Nook, now going to go read some more.
