Visit to the gynecologist

silver_chipmunkI overslept of course but still managed to get up with an hour before mashfanficchick's mother was to pick me up, so I was able to breakfast and coffee and shower and dress in time. However she hit bad traffic and I wasn't going to get there in time, so I called to tell them, only to find that, as I had feared for various reasons, my appointment was not in the system.
Fortunately they were able to squeeze me in. Unfortunately it wasn't until 1:30. So in the extra time we drove back to bring some Starbuck's tomashfanficchick.
The appointment itself was about as good as a gyn appointment can be. I got my ladybits peered at, and a pap smear taken, and all looks fine, I get the result of the smear in about a week.
So after that we went and picked upmashfanficchick at zer workplace and went and had late lunch. We had poke, which was delicious.
After that we did shopping formashfanficchick's nail needs for zer father's surprise retirement party tomorrow.
After we went to Ulta, T J Max, Target, and CVS, looking for fake nails and polish, we went back to zer place and I helped zer get the nails on both toes and fingers. By which time it was pretty late so they brought me home.
The new filter for the turtle tank was delivered but I have no time tonight to get it set up. I did Skype the FWiB though. for a short time.
I also called Oldest Brother three times as usual, and the Kid.
And now it's past time for bed.
