The Wicked Day Twenty-one Years Gone

So it's 9/11 again, and thoughts turn melancholy. Truthfully, I didn't dwell on it that much this year. But every time I saw a reminder, mostly on Facebook, I got a jolt.

I didn't do much today, I put in a Shipt order after breakfast, then dozed off while I was waiting, but luckily woke up before I missed it. Then I put it away and Skyped the FWiB.

After that I read for a good long time. The FWiB Skyped again, just to clear up a point.

And then I got on to the Ikea website, and ended up applying for and getting an Ikea Visa card, and using it to order a new book case to be delivered a week from today. It's going to go in the bedroom. I may have to ask someone, probably mashfanficchick to help me move it in, as I'm going to be assembling it in the living room for lack of space. I figure without the shelves it shouldn't be to heavy for two people, and I'll put the shelves in after I get it in it's place.


So that was somewhat exciting. I called Oldest Brother three times as usual, and I called Middle Brother, who only has three more days working for the Ducks, so the baseball season is drawing to a close. And I called the Kid, who was with Vincent so we didn't talk long.
