silver_chipmunkThe staff meeting supposed to be held this morning was cancelled, to be held next friday, when i won't be there. I'm sort of sad, if the boss was going to bring goodies again, that would have been nice.
But anyway, I called Oldest Brother at the usual time, and he blythely informed me that he's given consent to having a flu shot. I almost freaked. He can't get a flu shot because he's allergic to egg white. He's known this all his life. He couldn't give me any sort of reason or explanation. I called the social worker and left a message, and why were they asking him anyway? They're supposed to ask me the medical questions. I have his power of attorney and health care proxy. They have asked me every other time, so what the hell?
Then the rest of the day, my Al-anon meeting was cancelled because no one could get the key for the building. They tried three times and no one was there to give it out.
So after work, which was OK, actually, I just came home. On the bus the nursing home called, I didn't get the phone on time, but they left a message, it was the social worker, she took care of it. So that was OK. I called back and confirmed it.
I Skyped the FWiB, and that was nice. Then I had dinner, and then textedmashfanficchick and arranged to go dress-shopping with her tomorrow. I have to get a dress for Mike and Kat's wedding, which is just in a couple of weeks now! I just checked their website and it's 15 days! So that's an imperative.
Called the Kid, and had a nice talk. Then called Oldest Brother for the third time.
Then I scrolled facebook on my phone till it was time to do this. And here I am.
