Not a good evening

The Kid called me to let me know she has $1400 worth of car repairs. Her belts need replacing. This sucks.
The boss has let it be known that we all have to do at least two programs a week. So I spent most of the day coming up with more programs and scheduling them. I added three films, an in person trivia contest, and a teen tech program. That's over the next three months.
Came home and Skyped the FWiB. Got off in time to watch 911. Turned on the TV, started watching. Got about 15 minutes in. And suddenly the cable cut out. Or the TV died, I don't know which. I called Verizon and spoke with their technician for about an hour and we did everything she could come up with, and finally had to schedule me for a technician visit tomorrow. Hopefully I'll be able to make it after my doctor visit.
This all sucks.
Do I have to make a Gratitude List? Yes, I do.
Oh, I called Oldest Brother three times, and the Kid again.
Gratitude List:
1. The FWiB.
2. Congenial co-workers.
3. The Kid.
4. Didn't rain today.
5. Eggnog.
6. Bed soon.
