Day before Halloween

Slept late, and then had breakfast and coffee. Got showered and washed my hair, dressed, and went out to the drugstore. I took out the old suitcase that was ruined by Sybil using it as a scratching post, and walked around the block first.

Had no issues filling the prescription, and bought some candy corn for Halloween. It's not Bracht's though, it's another brand, and although it tastes pretty good, it isn't quite the same. Anyway, after I left the store I walked a longer way instead of coming straight back, for the exercise, and in hopes of seeing some Halloween decorations. I didn't, but it was a nice walk anyway.

Got home and puttered around. Finished reading the SHarecon zine. My story is the first one in the zone, which is nice. There's some good stuff in the zine, I enjoyed it. I had a brief call from mashfanficchick, I guess she's still feeling not so great.

Skyped the FWiB, and that was good as always. Afterward I called Oldest Brother for the second time, and took what will probably be my last Covid test for the time being. Still negative.

Then I had dinner, and went and lay down/ Called Middle Brother, who is looking forward to Halloween, and started talking about Thanksgiving too. Then I puttered on my phone till it was time to call Oldest Brother again, and then I called the Kid, who didn't pick up.

Then I watched Starsky and Hutch Halloween vids , which was entertaining, There were a lot more than I would have thought.

I took tomorrow off work so I will be home. Don't know what I'll do, maybe watch a movie. Tonight I'm going to read a little, it's been a few days since I've had a chance to get to the new P C Hodgell book.
