Went to visit Oldest Brother

silver_chipmunkWas supposed to talk to Laurie at 11 but when she saaw I was visiting Oldest Brother today, we put it off til 7 pm.
So I got up and dressed and went over to the nursing home. Oldest Brother was happy to see me. He had been told that the phone was out so he wasn't freaked by not hearing from me, and we had a nice visit for a couple of hours.
Then I came home and put in a Shipt order, getting some chopped kale for the turtle. Then I Skyped the FWiB.
Had dinner around 6:00, then killed time playing solitaire till Laurie called. We talked till 8:30, and then I got off and called Middle Brother. He was busy taking his meds so I had him call me back. He is fine, looking forward to Thanksgiving.
Then Laurie called me back and we talked for another hour, stuff about the cottage mostly. Family politics, not fun. Enough said.
Then I called the Kid and discussed things with her. She gave me some practical advice.
Then I gave the turtle some chopped kale, and she ate a few bites! Not the whole amount I gave her, but a little. Which is the first food she's take in a long time. So maybe she's getting better.
Tomorrow I go back to work. Blah. And have a one-on-one with the boss. Double blah.
