Colonoscopy and all

silver_chipmunkSo I got up this morning at 6 am and finished off the second half of the colonoscopy prep solution. Ugh. Then I went back to bed, and played on my phone for awhile, then went to sleep till 10. Got showered and dressed, after dithering around for awhile, just in time to be picked up by mashfanficchick and zer mother.
We went to the doctor's, out in Valley Stream, and ze came in with me and signed as my escort. Then they called me in to the exam room, did a physical check up, and brought me into the procedure room.
I was knocked out entirely, so I have no memory of it, which I think I'm rather grateful for. But the good news is, they found no polyps, or signs of bleeding or cancer. And I don't have to go back for five years.
So I came out of the anesthesia in the room and they took me to recovery, where I had a thing of apple juice. And then they walked me out to the waiting room wheremashfanficchick met me and we went down to the car.
We went to a 7-11 for coffee, and then we got food. I had poke, which I thoroughly enjoyed after not being able to have solid food for two days.
They brought me home, and I Skyped the FWiB, then went and lay down.
There was no D&D tonight, the DM has a migraine. So hopefully next week.
The turtle didn't eat today. Tomorrow night I am going to clean her tank and see if that helps.
I called Oldest Brother three times as always, and the Kid twice, once to tell her how the colonoscopy went and once just to talk.
Tomorrow back to work.
