Started the day by getting up and breakfasting, showering, and dressing, and then going to my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. That was very good.

Then

mashfanficchick and zer mother came and I helped them retape the tarp over the broken sun roof so that the windshield wiper would work. Then we took my old TV down to the DSNY site and dropped it off. So that's out of my living room now.

We got food, and did some shopping, first in Shop Rite and then in Target. I got wrapping paper, bows, some food for Christmas Eve, and peppermint mocha sugar free creamer. Then they broght me home and went out for the evening, and I got busy here.

I put in a Shipt order, and then Skyped the FWiB. We had a good time for an hour and a half. Then we got off and I called Oldest Brother for the second time, and then got started decorating the Christmas tree.

It took a long time, and I am exhausted. But it is done, and it looks great. I decorated the apartment too, all my Christmas decorations. Though I may add one last thing, lights around the arch that leads from the hall to the living room.

The Shipt order arrived and there were some issues. The shopper got the wrong party platter that I got for Christmas Eve, turkey and ham instead of pepperoni and salami. And one of my two cartons of eggnog had been opened so I had to discard it. And I forgot clementines. So that was disappointing.

I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and called the Kid but she didn't pick up.

I have filled a cart for another Shipt order, which I will have delivered tomorrow morning. I got pepperoni, clementines, more eggnog, and some other stuff to make enough for free delivery. I'll put in the order tonight and get up in time for it tomorrow.

So I am happy for the most part with the day, the tree is done and all is almost ready for Christmas Eve.
