Happy Christmas Eve

silver_chipmunkCan't take to long because Middle Brother is trying to sleep.
I got up and breakfasted and coffeed, showered and dressed warmly, and went to pick up Middle Brother in Hicksville. I took the bus to Jamaica and the LIRR from there. We came back the same way.
I Skyped the FWiB for a bit while playing Christmas music for Middle Brother. Thenmashfanficchick and zer mother came over and we got set up. Then the Kid came and we really started going, made the pasta, and ate cheese and drank a lot of wne. I had eggnog and pfeffernusse and clementines.
After the dinner we got Oldest Brother set up Skyping on his tablet (and that was a real hassle, he had serious trouble, but he finally got it going. We opened the presents in the traditional way, oldest to youngest, each picking one out for someone. Everyone seemed to enjoy everything they got which is lovely.
Then we said good night and I've been tidying up. Now Middle Brother is lying on the air matress in the living room, and it's time for bed.
