silver_chipmunkThe snooze button on my alarm clock may be broken, it didn't seem to work this morning, with the result that I overslept. But mashfanficchick and zer mother were late too so it worked out OK. and I had a chance to Skype the FWiB while I was waiting for them.
After they got here we went shopping, and then went to Carvel, because it's Wednesday, and as we all know, "Wednesday is sundae at Carvel".
Anyway, after that we went bac to zer place and had lunch, and then worked on the place. Got a lot done.
Somewhere along the way I realized that the FWiB wasn't getting my emails. So finally I Skyped him from my phone. (Couldn't call him because his phone is dead, he's getting it repaired or replaced tomorrow). We had a nice, if brief, conversation and he discovered my emails in his spam folder.
Called Oldest Brother for the third time but they wouldn't transfer me to him because they said he was sleeping. I called the Kid, and we talked briefly.
We were going to have salmon for dinner but it had spoiled. So we ordered out, just about all that was available at that point was Domino's Pizza. Which is not great, but OK< and filling. We went and picked it up and brought it back.
After that they brought me home, and I fed the pets. I'm not sure the automatic pet feeder is working. so I gave Oreo food. Then I fed the turtle, and she ate again. I had fed her this morning and she ate then too, so I think she is better.
The Kid called me and we talked for awhile.
