Taking down the tree

I stayed up later than I should have last night so I slept till 11. Then I called Oldest Brother, and I called mashfanficchick and arranged for zer to come over at around 1:30 to help me take down the Christmas tree.

I had breakfast, showered and dressed and Skyped the FWiB until mashfanficchick got there, and then we took down the tree. It's really pretty quick when two people do it, and not depressing. What I didn't think of till much later was that I forgot to ask zer to help me with changing the light bulb in my kitchen light. Which is annoying. But it is good to have the tree down, and the living room clear again.

Then we took back zer returnables to the store, and then we went to Brooklyn to the Kid's coffee shop! We had a lovely visit, coffee and pastries, and talking when she wasn't tending to other customers. We stayed until closing and walked her to her car.

Then we went to the Stop and Shop near me and got food for dinner. I got sushi. They brought me home, and I ate, and then Skyped the FWiB again. Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and went and read the Janet Evanovich book till it was time to write here.

So that was my day, and a very pleasant one.
