Quiet day at home

silver_chipmunkGot up in time to have breakfast and coffee and go to my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. Then after that I called mashfanficchick but due to the inclement temperature. no one wanted to go out today so we all stayed home.
I Skyped the FWiB for a while until it was time for the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. Today we watched the episode The Psychic. A very good one. I took a break and called Oldest Brother for the second time during the chat
After that I ate dinner and then cleaned the turtle tank. During that I discovered that the turtle broke the filter. I have to get yet another one. I really must get a better one this time. I also discovered that the bucket I use, which is my special never been used for anything but the turtle bucket, has a crack in the bottom and leaks. As a result I only put four buckets of water in instead of the six I usually do, and will need to get a new bucket asap. I also, on the plus side fixed the suction cup of the floating rock and set it up properly.
Then I went to lay down. and the FWiB, whom I had emailed to suggest we Skype again, Skyped without emailing first, while I was in bed, on my phone. I said I'd Skype back from the computer, and we had a nice time for a little while longer.
When we finished I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and then the Kid. Then I went and lay down and played solitaire till it was pet feeding time.
And now I will go to bed and read for awhile. I have been reading the Leigh Bardugo book Hell Bent, which is the sequel to The Seventh House. Pretty good stuff, But then Leigh Bardugo is good.
