Day on the computer

I got up a little after 10 and had breakfast and coffee, then went to my Al-anon meeting by Zoom. It was a pretty good meeting.

After that I Skyped for a little while with the FWiB, until it was time for the Starsky and Hutch episode watch and chat. We watched Murder on Stage 17, which has some very funny parts, but isn't one of the best episodes. We chatted for a long time, and it was very fun.

After that I checked the mail, called Oldest Brother for the second time, had something to eat, and then Skyped the FWiB again.

Once we finished I went into the bedroom to lie down and putter on my phone. I meant to read but never got around to it. I puttered till dinner time, then I made dinner and ate. I called Oldest Brother again, and texted the Kid (didn't call her cause I know she's away for the weekend.)

Since then I've been puttering on the computer. And that's been the day.

After this I'll go back to the bedroom and I will read.

Tomorrow is Easter and I will go see Oldest Brother in the nursing home, for Easter and for his birthday which is Tuesday.

Gratitude List:

1. The FWiB.

2. Starsky and Hutch fandom.

3. My computer.

4. Day to relax.

5. Popsicles.

6. My pets.

I have zero knowledge of the Starsky and Hutch fandom, but I love that it has one!

Believe it or not, I had to look up what fanvids were! Even though my own fandom has a big scene of something similar (PMVs, which are the My Little Pony version of AMVs) because we have no live-action content the term "fanvid" itself wasn't familiar to me.

Oh gosh, I'm staying well away from "who got there first?" discussions, I think! For one, people have different definitions (eg Wikipedia gives the credit to a Star Wars one from 1975, but that was a slideshow, not continuous movement). And for two... fandoms are places where people love to argue and nitpick and debate! At least, every fandom I've ever been is. :D
