Productive day

I slept far too late today, I hope I can get to sleep tonight! But despite that I got a bit accomplished.

Before I got up I had a long text conversation with the Kid, and she continues texting occasionally thrugh the day. I fell asleep again after that, but finally woke up and got out of bed.

I started with brunch and coffee of course. Then I put clothes on, and started dealing with the recycling. I took most of the cardboard out, first all the Amazon boxes and things, and then bagging up the rest bit by bit. That took a fair bit of time.

Then I Skyped the FWiB. We didn't have to long a time though, because his wife came over. So I went and read for awhile, then I cleaned the turtle tank and filter. The turtle seems much happier.

Then I went and lay down again and read. I finished The Bear and the Nightingale, and was thinking about starting a new book when the FWiB texted that he wanted to Skype again, though it was just to explain and say good bye properly.

I went and bagged all the plastic recycling. By then it was dark so I didn't take it out, I'll have to do that over the coming days.

Then I went and lay down again, and called Middle Brother. He's fine, no news. Then I had dinner.

I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and I tried calling the Kid but she didn't pick up. Probably already in bed. I texted with mashfanficchick about the plans for coming back tomorrow. Looking forward to it.

And that was my day.
