Meeting postponed

silver_chipmunkMade it to work on time. The boss wanted to have a meeting with me, the children's librarian, and the adult librarian to discuss the behavior of the teens. She did not stop to consider that she had a network meeting this morning. So realizing that, she rescheduled it for Friday. When I have the Tinkercad training on-line. So she rescheduled it again. This was not the first time this meeting has been rescheduled, either. Truth be told, the boss is not good at scheduling.
Anyway, I dodged that bullet, and weeded some, a section of non-fiction.
In the afternoon I had the Teen Lounge, and got about 15. It worked out pretty good.
After work I met up withmashfanficchick and zer mother and we went to Carvel.
Then they brought me home and I briefly Skyped the FWiB, then I played in my D&D game. Not the best session but we all survived. Next week we are going to start a Pathfinder game. I ordered a copy of the rulebook from Amazon since I know nothing about Pathfinder. I understand it's more like original D&D than the 5th edition that we've been playing.
After the game I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and then the Kid. I made dinner, and suggested to the FWiB we Skype again, but he was too tired.
Now going to go to bed.

A library near me tried to create a kind of "den" for the teens in a small room to the side of the main library, and it didn't work. Constant problems with noise and litter. They then changed it so that the teen area was more open and ever since it's been fine. Mostly the same teens, too, and without any need for additional staff supervision. I don't have expertise here, but it was interesting to see how different the results were from just moving a few yards across the library.
