Meeting night
No joy on mashfanficchick's passport. We are going to wait until Thursday night, then if it hasn't come, cancel and reschedule for August. The up side of August is that I have two weeks off. We would go for a little under two weeks. I would need to get someone to check on my pets, either RK or the Kid.
The down side of August is that's when I was going to go to the cottage. So no cottage this year, if it comes to that. *sigh*
I got to work on time, though once again only because the bus was late. The day was very quiet. I was supposed to do a Pixton program but there were only two teens in the building and they weren't interested. I weeded a shelf of manga and graphic novels. I had a call from my therapist during lunch.
After work I went to Boston Market, which was open this week. I called Oldest Brother for the second time, and then went to the church for my Al-anon meeting. I Skyped the FWiB while I was waiting,
The meeting was very good indeed. All three of the new people from last week came back!
Came home and Facebook messaged withmashfanficchick about the trip situation, with the results I said above.
Called Oldest Brother for the third time, and Skyped the FWiB again. Fed the pets and ate some more Girl Scout cookies.
I realized that, even if we can't get to Amsterdam next week, I NEED the time off. I am starting to get cranky and snappish at work which is Not Good.
Just called the Kid and she didn't answer. Probably asleep already.
