silver_chipmunkHad trouble sleeping last night, and ended up getting up very early as a result. I had a whole long Facebook messenger conversation with Lynn S about food for Wednesday, and Thursday breakfast, then got up and had breakfast, and put in my second Instacart order. Again, it went fine, though they were out of Venrnor's so they substituted regular ginger ale (Schweppes). But this makes it plain that I can get my food while I'm up here without a car. Yay!
Anyway, that was the big thing today. I Skyped the FWiB, I am sorry to say his brother-in-law did not make it through the night. He says they are taking it OK< but it must be hard on his wife.
I had my barbequed chicken donner for lunch, it was quite good, though a little dry, the beans and macaroni salad were good though.
I stayed around the cottage most of the day though I finally went over to Sue's. She wasn't there, so I went to Linda's and found her getting ready to go to the beach to meet Sue and go kayaking to Keg Creek. I went down to the beach with her and we sat for awhile before they left. I dozed on the shore for a little over an hour, and when they weren't back, I came up to the cottage again.
I texted with the Kid, and called her later but she didn't pick up. She texted though she was in bed and said she'd call tomorrow.
I called Oldest Brother three times as usual.mashfanficchick texted me too.
Carrie M. used my phone to take some pictures of the cottage at night with the lights on. She said how cute it looked. That touched me and made me feel very good.
The biggest news though is the breaking news that the Georgia grand jury has made 10 indictments, no idea yet of whom but we can hope.
