Last day of vacation

silver_chipmunkI slept until 10 and Oreo was in and out of my bed all night, so I guess he wanted to be sure I was really there.
I got up, and since I had no milk, creamer, and some other things, I put in a Shipt order. Then while I was waiting for it I showered and dressed and took out some garbage and then went to Dunkin' Donuts for brunch. I brought it back and collected the mail from my mailbox, the delivery of the held mail while I was gone.
After the Shipt order came, I unpacked it and put everything away. Then I went and lay down and dozed for a couple of hours. Oreo lay down with me and as close to cuddled as he ever does.
Laurie texted about Oldest Brother, and we had some discussion.
Then I got up, and went to Oldest Brother's nursing home to see him. He looks... OK, I guess. He was happy to see me, and I brought him the Ben Aaronovitch graphic novel I bought for him. I stayed for a couple of hours, during which they came and replaced his defective phone.
While i was there, I discovered that my email was logged out and I couldn't log back in. When I got home, I tried to reset my password, and finally called the help number. I was on hold for almost an hour! And she couldn't do anything for me, because she couldn't validate the account because the only way she could was by making a phone call to the number associated with the account, and that number doesn't exist any more. She gave me another number to call, but they closed at 6 and it was by then past 7. So I have to wait till tomorrow. I am seriously pissed off, they apparently changed my password with no notice.
After that I Skyped the FWiB to get me out of my foul mood, and we had a good time. I'm still annoyed though.
I called oldest Brother and the phone works OK< so that's good.
Then I went and lay down again, I played solitaire and Oreo came and lay with me.
I got up for pet feeding time, and took care of the pets, then I started here.
And so my vacation ends, not with a bang but a whimper.
