Another not good day

I was putting on my socks this morning at a little past 9 when my phone rang. It was the boss, wanting to know where I was because I had a meeting I was supposed to be at. I never looked at the weekly schedule so I never saw it, and I never got an email, nor did anyone tell me about it. So my bad for not looking at the schedule, but not totally my fault.

So I got there as fast as possible, and joined in. I ended up staying till 6 anyway, because we were short staffed. I never called the social worker back, and I didn't get to call Oldest Brother until 1 (I usually call him at 10:30)

I weeded a shelf of manga and graphic novels.

I was further distressed by some news about a friend which I do not care to divulge here now.

Came home and called Oldest Brother for the second time, then watched MSNBC's coverage of Trump's arraignment. Then I Skyped the FWiB. The mugshot was released while we were talking and he showed it to me.

I also called Middle Brother, who is fine.

I called the Kid, who didn't pick up, and I had dinner, then went and lay down for awhile.

And that was the day. Tomorrow is going to be bad too, I have the one-on-one with the boss.
