Pretty good Saturday

silver_chipmunkIt was raining when I left the building this morning but had stopped by the time I got to work. I was early for a change.
The day went pretty quickly, and I had a program in the afternoon, Teen Button Making, that went quite well indeed. I commandeered our new page, who started today, and then got the older kids from the Children's program that had just ended.
One of my co-workers told me that tomorrow is National Cinema Day and most movie theaters are offering $4 tickets. So when I got home I ascertained that the theater near me was participating, and I ordered a ticket for Oppenheimer. The early afternoon show was sold out, and the other shows almost, so I decided the best bet was the 10:25 am showing. Means I have to get up early to get there, but I think I can do it.
After that I put in a Shipt order. I made something to eat, and the FWiB suggested Skyping, so I said after I finished dinner. I finished, emailed the FWiB to Skype, and literally as soon as I sent it, the doorbell buzzed for the Shipt order. I answered the door, and got the order just as he Skyped, luckily I could take it on my phone and explain, which I did. But a great moment in Bad Timing.
Anyway, we Skyped, and while we were, the Kid called. So I talked to her for a bit. All is well.
After we finished I called Oldest Brother for the third time, and then went and lay down for a few minutes till it was time to feed the pets and write in here.
