Doctor visit

silver_chipmunkGot up in time to have breakfast, shower, and dress, and be ready to be picked up by mashfanficchick and zer mother, and go to my doctor's appointment. We got there on time, and I was taken almost immediately. Had to wait awhile in the exam room for the doctor, though. But not bad.
Everything is good except that I gained back some weight I had lost, which I knew, and need to drop it again. Which I also knew. Aside from that, though, all my bloods were good and the urine too. I go back in three months again.
We decided to go to Chopt for a late lunch, and then to Barnes and Noble to hang out for awhile, so we did that. It was very fun. I bought a book, Godkiller, and sat and read it for a few hours until we left. (Of course I bought it.)
I got a text from John, he and Denise are coming to NY to visit Brianne in a couple of weeks and want to get together with us for a visit in a restaurant like we did for Middle brother's birthday the year before they moved to Florida. So we'll see how that works out.
Got a phone call from Oldest Brother's nursing home. They had trouble changing his foley catheter today, but the good news is he has an appointment at last with the urologist.
Anyway, we left with enough time for me to get home and Skype the FWiB for awhile before my Al-anon meeting. The meeting was very good, though S wasn't there.
After that I tried calling Oldest Brother. His phone is out of order again, I think I mentioned, I got in touch with him this afternoon by luck when he saw the phone light blinking, but it doesn't ring apparently. So I wasn't able to get in touch. Called the Kid too but she didn't pick up.
Had a little food, not much because of the good lunch, and went and lay down and played on my phone till pet feeding time. And here I am.
