silver_chipmunkMade it to work 3 minutes late so I counted myself as on time. I think I got away with it.
Despite it being the first day of school, it was quite quiet. Very few kids came in. I did a program, decorating baseball caps, and got three kids.
Oldest Brother's phone has been replaced. We'll see how long this one lasts.
I got permission to take Monday off so our trip to PA is a go. I'll take along my computer, and keep everyone posted on how it goes.
While I was waiting for the bus, the Kid texted. She is at a con this weekend with her boyfriend. Also got texts from Al-anon people, all at the same time. Got home and called Oldest Brother for the second time, then packed for the trip, and made a Shipt order.
Made dinner and ate, and Skyped with the FWiB. While we were Skyping, it was time to call Middle Brother so I did that. He is fine, went bowling and got a strike. He was happy.
While I was talking to him,mashfanficchick called, and I called zer back, and we talked a bit and made arrangements for Saturday. Then I got back to the FWiB and we talked longer.
My Shipt order was delivered, and I put it away, then fed the pets. Going to go to bed early cause I have to get up way early tomorrow, I have a meeting in Manhattan all day, and it starts at 8:30 breakfast.
Looked up the Kurt Vonnegut novel Cat's Cradle because I was trying to remember things about Bokkonism, the made-up religion in the book. A bunch of us were highly impressed by that in college.
