silver_chipmunkGot up this morning and went to breakfast at the hotel, then we packed and checked out. Unfortunately we took longer than we should have, and things otherwise got delayed on the trip, even though the two stops we had to make only took a few minutes. So I couldn't make it to my doctor's appointment.
When it got to 3, it was apparent I wasn't going to make it, so I called and ended up cancelling it. I rescheduled for Wednesday of next week, then discovered my free day was Tuesday. Couldn't re-reschedule the appointment so I called the branch and asked Angel, who was free the correct day, if he could switch with me. He said yes, so that's OK.
I got a text from the Kid and it ended up with me finally telling her that her ex is engaged again. Sje took it fairly well. I also got a text from John about dinner on the 17th. So I have to deal with setting that up. Should be fun.
We decided that since we had some extra time we should do dinner in Queens. We went to California Pizza Kitchen and I got Wild Mushroom pizza with white truffle oil.
After that they brought me home, just barely in time for my meeting. That was small, just me and M.
After the meeting, I Skyped the FWiB. Then I called Oldest Brother for the third time.
Then I did some unpacking until it was pet feeding time.
And now it's time for bed.
