Frustrating

silver_chipmunkGot to work on time, had a staff meeting which was pretty mild. Then worked pretty non-stop till lunch at 12 when I called Oldest Brother late. He didn't answer. I called nursing to find out about the doctor's appointment yesterday, and I was told someone would call me back.
I called Oldest Brother again during my break, and he still didn't answer. I got back to work and finished the YA inventory, and got it sent off. Then, in the last half hour of work I called back to nursing, and was told they were having an emergency and could I call back in a half hour? So I called back after closing and finally talked to someone about the doctor visit. Apparently he reacted in a violent manner to having his blood drawn, and they were unable to get any for testing. They are bringing him back on another day to try again.
So I told the nurse that I hadn't been able to get through to him today, and she went to check his phone, and found that he had it open, which is why the call hadn't gone through. She transferred me to him and I spent over half an hour trying to find out from him what happened and why he wouldn't cooperate, and convince him that he had to cooperate with the doctor. Finally I told him he could try talking to John about it on Sunday, and left it at that.
I had dinner then at Boston Market. I had to wait for the chicken to be done, but it was hot and fresh and yummy.
Then I went to my Al-anon meeting. That was pretty good.
Came home, talked to Oldest Brother again, but didn't mention the doctor. Then I Skyped the FWiB.
Fed the pets, and started writing here.
