Family get together

Got up a bit before 10 and had breakfast and coffee. I did various things around the house like finding the D&D character sheet on my computer and filling out one for my character, cleaning the new cat pan, taking a shower and washing my hair, and taking out the dirty litter to the garbage.

I watched the final episode of Good Omens 2. Oh it is good, and heartbreaking. I hope and pray for a third one to fix what was broken in the end.

Anyway, finally it was 4:30 and I walked over to Oldest Brother's nursing home. Only to find that no one had told them that he should be ready to go out at 5.nThere was general consternation, but they finally got hm set up and ready to go, though by then it was already 6.

Then the cab was late, and then when it arrived there were mechanical issues with getting Oldest Brother secured in the wheelchair area. so it was after 7 by the time we got to the restaurant. Everyone was there, even the Kid, who was also late. But it was OK< they waited, and we had a really good time. And good food. It was John and Denise and Brianne, who went and picked up Middle Brother. The kid, and me and Oldest Brother.

I called for a cab when we were ready to go (we closed out the restaurant at 9) and there was trouble with that one too. But everyone waited till we got in, and with a little help from John and the Kid we got oldest Brother secured in and then back to the nursing home.

mashfanficchick called during the ride back, and asked me to call when I got home. I took Oldest Brother up to his floor, and then walked home, in a light rain, but I had an umbrella so that was OK>

Called mashfanficchick when I got here and got invited to a baseball game week after next. That should be fun.

Skyped the FWiB for a little bit, and then started here.

I sobbed through that last episode of Good Omens. And holy toledo, but Tumblr is alllllllll full of deep insights and people who analyze every movement and flicker of expression....it's glorious, because I don't do that. All I could think was that Zir's final smile meant he'd come up with a plan, and knew how to implement it.

The Crowley angst on Tumblr is woah, heartbreaking.
