Had trouble getting up today, was 40 minutes late. First time in awhile though.

I got in touch with cousin Steve and made sure about the Thanksgiving weekend and what station I had to take the train to, and I got my ticket. Though oddly, the train is only taking me as far as Albany, and then I take a Trailways bus from there to Rutland. No explanation was given, but I have the tickets.

Then I called the diner we're going to and found I don't need reservations, so that's good. We are eating at 12:30 so the Kid and her boyfriend can go to his family for Thanksgiving in the evening.

I called Middle Brother's group home and arranged the usual Thanksgiving thing, I'll pick him up at the Hicksville train station the day before Thanksgiving and he'll spend the night with me. The only thing I still need to do is call the nursing home and arrange for Oldest Brother to be ready to go. I hope they don't give me a hard time again. Then I have to arrange the wheelchair taxi.

Anyway. the day passed very quietly. I did go to the YA chat in the morning. That was about the only thing of note.

After work I came home and called Oldest Brother. Then I got a load of laundry together, but I'll take it down tomorrow (I'm free tomorrow). Then I made dinner, and ate, and then Skyped the FWiB.

While I was Skyping the FWiB, I took a break and called Middle Brother. he was very happy to hear about Thanksgiving.

Then I went back to the FWiB. We talked for a nice long time, and then I went and lay down and played solitaire.

While I was doing that,

mashfanficchick called and there is a possibility ze will be joining us for Thanksgiving. Not certain yet but it would be very nice. Seems that zer father and stepmother, who she usually have Thanksgiving with, have Covid. So we shall see how things work out.

And that's about the only things there are to say.
